Privacy
Dev Cheat Codes is an independent creator project from the Netherlands. We make short videos about AI tools on Instagram (@devcheatcodes) and TikTok (@dev.cheat.codes), and this site lets you unlock the links from those videos. This page explains what data that involves. Short version: very little, and we never sell it.
This website
- No accounts, no cookies, no ad or tracking pixels.
- Codes you type. When you enter a code, we count how many times each code was tried per day and whether it worked. We store only the cleaned code word (letters and numbers, up to 16), the date and the count. We do not store your IP address or any device ID with it.
- Your browser. Which codes you unlocked and whether sound is on are kept in your own browser (local storage). That never leaves your device; clear your browser data to remove it.
- Hosting. The site runs on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and keep the service secure, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address under its own privacy policy. We don't use that data to identify you.
Instagram and TikTok
When you comment, message or follow us, Instagram's or TikTok's own privacy policy applies. To answer the many "send me the link" comments we use automation tools: Zorcha sends Instagram DMs to people who comment a code, and OmniSocials schedules our posts and posts public replies to TikTok comments that contain a code. These tools only see what you send to our accounts.
We read statistics about our own accounts and posts (views, likes, comments, followers) through the platforms' official APIs to see which videos work. We do not build profiles of individual people and do not sell or share personal data.
If you email hello@ or sponsors@devcheatcodes.com, we use your message and address only to reply and keep the conversation. Delete requests are honoured.
Your rights and data deletion
Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use. Email hello@devcheatcodes.com with the subject "Delete my data" and the username you use on Instagram or TikTok. We delete what we hold within 30 days and confirm by email. Data stored by Instagram or TikTok themselves is managed in their apps. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

If this changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
